About The Baby Maze

The idea for The Baby Maze was conceived (pun intended) after the birth of my daughter. I realised that a lot of local information is passed on by word of mouth, making it difficult to access. I decided that a one-stop website for expectant parents and families with young children living in the Lancaster and Morecambe area would be really useful and The Baby Maze was born.

My background is in local publishing and internet-based research and although I didn't know much about websites when starting The Baby Maze I've found the experience of setting up my own site to be enjoyable as well as challenging. www.babymaze.co.uk has been up and running for a few years now and the response to it has been amazing. Local businesses have been very supportive and I was delighted when Health Visitors in the Lancaster and Morecambe area agreed to hand out my postcards to new parents. News about The Baby Maze is spreading quickly but there's nothing like being recommended by local parents - so if you find the website useful please tell someone about it.

Things have been a bit hectic here since the arrival of my son but I work on the website when I can and along with Rachel Gibson of Quay Creative I'm planning more Babymaze Baby and Toddler Shows - click here for details
