One way to get the most out of your pregnancy is to join an antenatal class. Not only will you have a laugh at your ever expanding waistlines, compare notes and share your hopes and fears (and heartburn remedies!) but being around other pregnant women is a real bonding experience.

Saturdays (term time) at The Centre @ Halton, 9.30-10.45am. Dancing and birth education for antenatal and postnatal ladies - FREE TRIAL CLASS AVAILABLE
Find out how dance moves can benefit babies position and, as part of active birthing, help you achieve a quicker and easier labour and birth. Keep fit and have fun too!
Postnatally, wear your baby in a sling and dance with them – get in shape and find out how dance moves can help comfort baby and aid development.

Led by trained NCT antenatal teachers classes are small and informal. Topics covered topics include labour, pain relief and birth. Ring for venue and costs.
Aqua Natal
Classes are designed for pregnant women so expect gentle stretching rather than a full-on workout. This type of exercise can help to keep you supple throughout your pregnancy.

For women after 20 weeks of pregnancy. The group has the main pool at Salt Ayre to themselves. Please bring your hand held notes to these sessions. Free parking at this venue. Term time only. No sessions during Summer break.

Bumps and Babes - Mondays
Venue: St Paul's Church Hall (opp St Paul's Church), Scotforth Rd, Lancaster
Time: 10am-12noon
Cost: £1 (includes refreshments)
For bumps and babies up to walking. Meet other mums-to-be and parents with young babies in a friendly environment. This group is run by the local NCT branch. Limited parking at venue.
