Attractions/things to do in the Lancaster and Morecambe area

There are lots of great days out and things to do as a family in the Lancaster and Morecambe area. Here are just a few ideas all within a short distance.

Old Holly Farm is a family run, working dairy farm and is passionate about giving children (adults alike!) the opportunity to see, touch, hear, smell and taste a real working farm. The open farm boasts free entry, which makes it a great value day out. With the traditional farm animals in the courtyard, the popular calf shed and the new outdoor paddocks children can learn about animals in a safe environment. Remember we are a working farm and we encourage all our customers to use the hand-washing facilities and information provided. The fantastic indoor Playbarn is perfect for ages 0-9, and has a Parent & Toddler group every Monday (term-time only), kids party packages and its very own café. The Courtyard Café offers home-made food, cakes and refreshing drinks in a family friendly environment. The Farm Shop is full of local treats, toys and of course Coolcow Ice cream which is made using the Old Holly cow’s milk. Remember you won't want to go home before watching the cows come home for milking at 4.30pm everyday.
