Lune Park Children's Centre

 Located in Rylands Park, Lancaster, Lune Park Children's Centre can be accessed by car via Torrisholme Road or on foot within Rylands Park itself. There is a free car park on-site. Upon entering Lune Park Children's Centre you will be greeted by one of our friendly receptionists who will be happy to point you in the right direction.

About Us

Lune Park Children's Centre offers a variety of activities and services for parents-to-be and families/carers of children under 5 years of age. If you are coming along to one of our groups then why not visit the Community Cafe which is open from 11am-2pm on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday serving a range of light meals and snacks. Highchairs are available and parents/carers have the use of the microwave to heat up baby food.

If you feel nervous about joining a group or visiting Lune Park Children's Centre for the first time then please contact us and we can arrange for you to be met by one of our Parent Reps who will show you the ropes. Any parent can volunteer to become a Parent Representative - It’s not scary; you’ll learn new skills and could even have fun! Click here to find out more

Mum2Mum Breastfeeding Support Group

We are local mums who have breastfed our babies. We are also qualified breastfeeding peer supporters and want to use our knowledge to help other mums (and mums-to-be). So if you're breastfeeding now or plan to give it a go once your baby arrives then come along to our friendly relaxed group.

We meet every Tuesday 10am-12noon -  Refreshments are provided and older children are also welcome

Baby Massage

Baby massage can help with sleep problems, colic, constipation and relaxation and can be a wonderful way for you to bond with your baby. This class is for babies aged from 8 weeks to 9 months. All equipment is provided.

Book Library/Book Swap

 Borrow up to 5 books for 4 weeks via our Book Library.

Young Mums Care

If you are a mum or pregnant and under the age of 24 then this group is for you. We are a small friendly group where you can relax, play, do craft activities or just have a chat with other mums. Drinks and snacks are provided for you and your children.

Latest News

Lune Park Children's Centre is already well-established within the local community and there is a similar centre currently being built in Carnforth. Although Lune Park and Carnforth will provide activities and support to families and carers in their local areas both centres will share the same management structure.

Carnforth Children's Centre is currently under construction and The Baby Maze will bring you more details as they become available. Play sessions have already begun at a temporary venue at Carnforth Civic Hall.
