Ollie

Ollie Brian was born on the 25th February 2006 at 16.17pm weighing 8lb exactly. Ollie's favourite song is head shoulders knees and toes, closely followed by wind the bobbin up (he is fantastic at doing the actions without being prompted). Dogs dont go down too well and he does not seem to like grass. Cucumber is a big hit at meal times and dare I say it but he loves chips!!!!! Teletubbies, The Night Garden and Tikkabilla are what he lives to watch. There's no going to sleep unless Ollie has Mr Snuggles (a soft bear which snores!) Favourite things to say are Tigger and Daddy and finally he loves books especially the touch and feel ones.

29TH-4TH NOVEMBER
I've cracked the shape naming game and can happily spot and name A triangle, square circle and star.
I slept out at Nanna and grandads's and they told Mummy I counted from 1-10 up their stairs,  not sure if she belived me so just in case she didn't I did it for her and Daddy when I got home.  They were so proud Mummy cried and Daddy hugged me really tight x

22ND-28TH OCTOBER
Okay now I am getting clever, I can recognise the number 2!!!
I had lots of fun at the 2 parties I went to on sunday, It was so good in Johnny's Fun Factory, I loved the Bouncy Castle... Maybe I should Ask Mummy if I can have my party there!!!! X
 

5th-21st October
yessss Nanna nad Grandad are back, and they bought me some nice new books x
My favourite song is the cheeky monkey one where the crocodiles come to get them, i can do all the actions and as soon as anyone says crocodile or i see a picture of one  i shout "snap"
My Mummy showed a fun game this week, she starts of by saying kiss ( then she kisses me) then she says cuddles ( then i get a cuddle) and then she says squeeze, ( and then i get a quick squeeze!!!!)
It didnt take me long to pick up on how fun this game is and now i can say "kiss, cuddle and shout  squeeze".
My Daddy was suprised when i found a picture of a birthday party and clearly pointed and named the "cake", i like to say "utterfly" when i see butterflies.
Im off to 2 parties this weekend, one is my friend Alex from nursery and the other one is my cousin Niamh's, i will let you know how much fun i had next time x

8th-14th October
Its Official im now in 12-18 months tops, just not jeans and pants they are still 9-12 months!!!!!!!
Im enjoying the new quinny pram that Mummy and Daddy bought for me, its really comfy!
Me, Mummy and Daddy were in my bedroom after bath time, and we were playing a game as  they were asking me where lots of different parts of my body were, i made them smile when i pointed to each one at the right place, even my chin and teeth!!!
I found a picture of my cousin and said her name really clear " befany"  for bethany x

1st-7th October
Nanna and Grandad have gone away, im going to miss them x
Daddy came home this week and as soon as i saw him i ran towards him, ive missed him.
He told Mummy he has seen a change in me and hes only been away 10 days.  He was really proud of me when i got hold of a ball and shouted "catch", and i pushed the ball with my hands and shouted " roll it". I even asked him "come play"

24th 30th September
Can you believe it im 19 months, where does the time go??? 9 thats what mummy keeps saying!
Daddy has flown back to Germany but not for long, so im back to looking after Mummy.
Ive been a bit grouchy this week as another one of my teeth has appeared at the side of my front ones ahhhhhhh, ive been keeping Mummy awake a bit , although the other night she when she cuddled me because i was crying, i took my Dummy out and gave her a kiss, it was really special as she hadn't asked for one , it made her feel extra special xxx

17th-23rd September
Well the answer to me having a dolly and pram was no!!!!!!  im going to just have to settle for playing with the ones at Nursery!!!
Im getting a real sense of direction now, and whilst traveling in the car i shout Nannas name when we drive past her road.  I like to name the things i know when passing as we travel , such as the trees, cars, shops, and trucks. x

10th-14th September
oohh best behaviour now daddy is home for a little while!!!!!
It seems that i have grasped the naming of some colours, i can recognise and say pink and blue!!!!
Animals i just love we have a great big tub of farm animals at nursery, and now i can say pig, sheep, dog, horsey and cow, Mummy and Daddy are really proud!!!!!!
Mummy said she is going to have a word with Daddy and ask him if I can have a baby and a pram..... just like the one at nursery, i will let you know his answer soon!!!!

3rd-9th September
Think I made Mummy a little bit sad...... we were in Asda and i was so tired i decided to throw the biggest paddy ever, i cant believe how Mummy stayed so calm especially as there was such an audience watching.
Nursery was fun this week i was learning all about colours!!!

27th- August- 2nd September
I have found a new craze..... Brum , you know the yellow car that always saves the day, I love it and am always asking Mummy "watch brum"!!!!!
I went to my cousins house for tea this week and loved it there, when Mummy came to get me i screamed not oo go!!!

13th-19th August
I have a new word...... not sure if mummy and Daddy like me saying it........  NO!!!
When something doesent suit i respond with no!!!!, I even shake my head at the same time.
I have a new car its got 7 seats, mummy and daddy bought it, when they took it for a test drive i loved it and kept shouting "big car big car"!!!!!!  Its got tinited windows so i never have to get ratty when the sun is in my eyes, and there is enough room for my cousins to have a ride too!

6th-12th August
Ive  got them ...... my new football boots the new nike 90 lazers just like wayne rooney!  they are bright yellow so everyone can see me coming!
Hey isnt the splash pool at happy mount park fab!! I went today and was a little unsure at first but then had great fun dodging the water, all was well until one of the buckets tipped all over me (i dont like it when i have my hair washed and water goes over my face!)  Mummy caught it on camera and is considering sending to you have been framed!!!!
I went to baby Theo's christening on sunday ,mummy and daddy are getting broody. I had lots of fun running round and being a monkey!!!

Guess what i am now a 4 in a shoe size, and i know that because Mummy  bought me my first pair of crocs.
On wednesday Daddy got me my new Manchester united strip, its got Ollie number 7 on the back, just need my new football boots to go with them now!!!!

We picked my Daddy up from the airport on Friday and he doesnt have to go back to Germany for 4 weeks, that means lots and lots of hugs kisses and bedtime stories. I was fine with Daddy when he arrived back, just like he had never been away. He has seen a big change in me though especially with my talking. I chatter so much and can clearly say, "get down", mama, daddy, gandad, nanna cam cams ( my cousin cameron) elvis, my Nanna taught me that!!!!  "choo choo " ( for train)
"car", "bus" "flowers", "cat, "dog "tigger" do do ( dummy) "bot bot" (bottle) "dirty" and "its raining!"!!!!!!!!!!! oh yes and the one i love to say the most is "football".

Yipee Daddy has booked a flight to come home next week, Mummy and me cant wait. I managed to discover a wonderful thing called a biro this week, and it managed to go all over the sofa !!!!!! Mummy didnt look too impressed when she discovered my artwork!!!! especially as the sofa is cream.

Well its official at last I have grown into size 9-12 months pants, after all i should be in 12-18 months by now !!!!  Mummy gets a little sad when she has to pack away my smaller sized clothes, shes saving them all just in case i get a little brother!!!!!!!

Now Mummy knows why I have been grouchy the last few weeks she got a glimpse of my bottom back teeth !!!  I have a right mouthfullof them now!!!
"Dirty"  is my new word, whenever i see a toilet i instantly say "dirty"!!!! No matter how hot or cold any food is i always say its hot and have to blow on it 1st!!!!!!!
I am keeping Mummy nice and busy, and loving being at nursery too.

June 25th -1st July

Ahh Daddy has had to go away again, he is going to miss me and Mummy lots but i am going to try and be a good boy for Mummy!!!
I seem to be understanding the concept of no, as when I am tired and someone says the word i burst into tears!!!!!!!
When Mummy asks me to come here  i hold my finger up and curl it without being promted, and if i am about to do something naughty ( such as take the sky card out )  i look around for Mummy and instantly shake my finger at her, even before she gets the chance to say no!!!!!

June 18th 22nd June 

 Yippeee Daddy was home this week and it was so good to see him again and see Mummy happy.  I went to see my mummies aunties and Uncles in Barnsley and oh how they loved me i was just the centre of attention, how could they resist me with my big cheeky smile, blonde hair and big eyes!!!!!!

June 11th-17th
 
Hey what a busy social life i have got I went to another party this weekend!!!  It was my little friend Charisma from Jo Jingles, Gemma and Holly were there too.  I had lots of fun as mini stages came to do the entertainment, i spend lots of time singing and dancing and blowing a funny instrument that sounded like a duck.  Me and Mummy are looking forward to next week as we are picking Daddy up from the airport.

4th-8th June
 
Wow i can say so much now ... i love to shout "kICK IT " when i see a ball, "More" when im really enjoying things "gandad, Nanna" "car and choo choo"  Daddy will be so proud of me when he comes home!!!!
Guess what when Mummy says one I follow on by saying "two". I went to my friend Christophers 2nd birthday party this week and loved it, it was a Thomas the tank engine theme which is just right up my street!!!  I didnt join in all of Jo jingles as I was to busy chasing the Thomas balloons and trying on the Thomas Hats !!!!

28th- 1st June
 
Its offical im a big boy now..... I started Nursery this week just 2 afternnoons a week... I love it, although some of the bigger children think i am cute and try to pick me up !!!!!!! I still need my sleeps in the afternoon but there is far to much going on at Nursery to want to sleep so by the time I get home i am really tired!!!!!!  I can get really touchy when im tired so Mummy packs me my milk and mr snuggles my favourite bear.

21st-25th May
 
Daddy has gone back to Germany now, which has made Mummy sad!!  Its a good job she has got me to keep her on her toes!!!
Whilst Daddy was home we all went to the hospital to see if Mummy could get a brother or sister for me, it all went okay and hopefully i wont be on my own for too long!!!!!

14th-18th May

Boy am i keeping Mummy on her toes, i am just into everything and love to climb, she says im going to give her a heart attack! My balance is great at  the moment and i have mastered getting out of the front door and down the steps in just a few seconds!!!
Its strange not having Daddy around, I keep pointing to his picture and saying "Daddy" in the hope he will pop his head around the door and shout boo!!!!
When I wake each morning Mummy always greets me with " morning munchkin", and then always helps me to find Daddy by showing me all his pictures.  I speak to Daddy lots too i just love saying Hiya on the phone!
This week I have spent some time with Nanna Shirley and she has taught me 2 new words which I love to repeat " choo choo" and " chicken" ( my favourite thing to eat at her house")
Daddy is flying home next week but just for a few days, so he can go to a hospital appointment with Mummy, and of course see his favourite little boy!
 im looking forward to his cuddles and kisses ! x

30th April- 6th May
 
AHHHHHH my gums are so sore, its making me cross and ratty!!!!  Mummy took me to see the health visitor as my bottom is sore as well.  I am really glad we went as the metanium they gave us has cleared things up nicely... now I can get back to being a happy boy!!!
Mummy has been upset this week as Daddy has found out that the Army are sending him to Germany to stay for a while.  When Mummy cries i keep going up to her  resting my head on her and saying ahhhhhhh!  She is sad because she dosent want me to miss out on Daddy being around, but I love him lots and lots and will talk to him when he calls, besides hopefully it wont be for long because ............... Mummy and Daddy are going to try and get me a little brother or sister... you will have to watch this space!
Guess what... im sleeping at Grandma Shirley's and Grandad Brian's this Saturday, my very 1st time away from home. Its only round the corner so if i scream too much I can go home!!!!

What  a busy week I have had, all of the fun groups Mummy takes me too started again because half term had finished.  On Monday I went to Jo Jingles, i just love it there, dancing with my little friends.  On Thursday i went to Little Fishes with Mummy.  I made a nice craft, played lots and had a lovely cake at snack time.  I haven't seen my 2 little girlfriends Mia and Eva for a couple of weeks now so Mummy said she would ring there Mummies to see if i can go and play next week.

 9th-15th April 2007
This week Mummy and Daddy took me to the beach, they showed me how to build a sandcastle for the very 1st time. I didn't like the sand at first, but it didn't take long before I was having fun. When it was time to go I cried as I didn't want to leave!!!  Daddy bought me an ice cream on the way home but I didn't eat it as it was far too cold! Mummy told Daddy that he has to watch what he says now as I'm getting clever at repeating words when I hear them, oops!
